B O D Y // Yoga practice

Yoga has long been something I have felt drawn to because it resonates with my desire to live a simplistic life. Having practiced on and off for the past 15 years I am now very dedicated to my practice and it has become a core element of my life. The physical benefits are of course the most evident for others to see but for me the love of yoga is more about the connection to myself at a deeper level and the understanding that peace can ONLY come from living solely in the present moment. I have come to the understanding that peace is a moment by moment occurrence rather than a one time achievement.

Just as the physical side of yoga is a challenging journey as is the mental. The more I practice the physical the more easily I find my alignment with peace, with love, with purity of energy, which ultimately is what I seek. 

I practice yoga alone at home and sometimes outdoors and I use an amazing app called Down Dog. The teacher Adrienne Kimberley has an incredible skill for vocal instruction and a voice which is instantly soothing.
